May 2005 Aston Hearing Services invites you to a Hearing Open Day Wednesday 4th May 2005 Old Amersham Market Hall 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. In celebration of Deaf Awareness Week, we are holding a charity Hearing Open Day on the 4th May, which is free and open to anyone and everyone who has an interest in hearing and deaf issues.
Take a look at the latest hearing solutions from all the leading manufacturers in an informal friendly atmosphere Explore the different hearing services available in Bucks – both privately and via the NHS Meet the team from Aston Hearing Services and take part in interactive demonstrations – including the opportunity to look into your own ear canal and see your ear drum work Get information on the latest complementary and hearing therapies Browse fantastic stalls – including refreshments and homemade cakes available throughout the day
Help raise money to donate to the good work of three deaf related charities: Sign - a national charity based in Beaconsfield – who work to promote deaf wellness and to help young deaf adults to live independent lives. Hearing Dogs for the Deaf a unique charity based locally in Saunderton working to train dogs to alert severely and profoundly deaf people to sounds that they cannot hear. The NDCS – The National Deaf Children Society –who provide emotional and practical support to families who are affected in anyway by childhood deafness.
