This year we attended The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show Charity Gala Preview, we went to explore The Widex Hearing Garden. Which just happened to win best small garden and a Gold medal.
The Widex Hearing Garden - celebrating sound’ was the first garden created at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show to be designed around enjoying the sounds found in gardens. It was sponsored by Widex and supported by the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP). www.aihhp.org
The garden included some key factors like an interactive ‘Listening Wall’ - where visitors could listen to garden sounds. silver birch trees for screens and chimes, also a limestone water feature with a sculpted spout falling into a plunge pool.
The garden explores the important contribution sound makes to our natural environment and the enjoyment people get from their hearing sense. For more information about The Widex Hearing Garden click on the link: www.pcwerth.co.uk/widexuk/soundgarden/index.htm
