Our very own Duncan Collet-Fenson will be running the New York Marathon on November 2nd.  He is part of the Widex Marathon Team 2008, which is made up of 100 hearing care professionals from around the world.  We are pleased to announce that Duncan finished the marathon in 3 hours 47 minutes and is still smiling - Well Done. 

The organisers of the ING New York City Marathon, the New York Road Runners, have signed a contract with Widex A/S giving the company status as ”Official Supporting Sponsor of the ING New York City Marathon”.

Break down prejudices
For several years, Widex has organised marathon races for hearing aid users and hearing care professionals. The Widex Marathon Teams have competed in the Berlin Marathon and the Great Wall Marathon in China and aim to create awareness about hearing related issues. By supporting values linked to an active lifestyle, Widex hopes to break down prejudices associated with hearing aids.
